It comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission, so its base configuration is only capable of an EPA-estimated 27 city/35 highway MPG.

You’ll be able to make the most of every drop of fuel with the 10.8-gallon fuel tank of the Versa. The Kia Rio, however, will give you more to work with thanks to its larger 11.9-gallon fuel tank.
